- Lots of information with a variety of cleanses Review by Ericksonandco

Rating I am health conscience and although there are a lot of things I am still learning, I do know that cleansing our bodies of toxins is very important to our health. However many cleanses that I have read about sound downright scary and dangerous. This book is neither of these things and is not designed to make you feel dizzy, nauseous, faint, or weak. This book is designed to fit into a normal healthy lifestyle and does not require the participant to put their life on hold while participating in a cleanse.
The Everything Easy Cleanse Book has a great introduction chapter (chapter 1) to teach people why the importance of cleansing our bodies, the different types of cleanses, safety and realistic expectations, and what a cleanse is and isn’t. I do not think that a cleanse is a miracle cure all as many cleanses claim. This book does not claim this and it tells readers specifically that it is not a cure-all. A cleanse “is a jumpstart to a healthier lifestyle and wiser food choices.”
The cleanses included in this book are: cleansing for general detox (chapter 2), cleansing for optimal weight management (chapter 3), cleansing for healthy digestion (chapter 4), cleansing for strength and stamina, cleansing for peak performance at any age, cleansing for clearer skin and stronger nails, cleansing for a detoxed filtering system, cleansing for a healthy heart, cleansing for respiratory problems, cleansing for balanced bacteria levels, cleansing for head pain and congestion, cleansing for better focus and concentration, cleansing for calm, balance, and homeostasis, and Post-cleanse: Keeping good habits and ending your cleanse safely.
Each chapter first discusses the important of the type of cleanse, nutrients that are important for the type of cleanse, how the cleanse can help, what to put in your shopping cart, and what to do after the cleanse. This is very useful information and I enjoyed reading all the chapters to get an idea of why each cleanse should be done. After this introduction the author provides about 5-7 recipes to go along with the cleanse. Now this might not seem like very many recipes but a cleanse should only last 1-3 days and there are many other foods included in the introduction area that can be eaten during the cleanse.
I have enjoyed reading this book and following some of the cleanses and I can’t wait to do more of them.
I received this book for free to review. However, this did not influence my opinions.
